Below is an extract from our website:
The National Police Checking Service (NPCS), sometimes referred to as a police check, involves comparing an individual's details (such as name and date of birth) against a central index of names using a name matching algorithm to determine if the name and date of birth combination of that individual matches any others who have police history information. The NPCS is a service provided by the ACIC (https://acic.gov.au) working with Australian police agencies, to provide a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC – https://acic.gov.au) is Australia’s national criminal intelligence agency. Their role includes reducing serious and organised crime threats of most harm to Australian, and the national interest.

The only variance to this sample is our logo, and top header, that may be included on report provided to you. The remaining part of the document is unaltered, and cannot be altered, unless you believe there is incorrect information, which will require you to fill out a Dispute form and we will need to lodge this with the ACIC for review. 1-Check cannot and will not alter information on your Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or police check, result.
